How can I promote my Company or Service on Carweb?
Carweb is a car community with an old-school vibe. I don't get paid to endorse anything, honestly, I don't. I am just a regular guy with a website.
The goal here is to let the car fans and industry insiders join and talk about what they know best. But, if I see spam I will delete it.
Here is the guideline for putting information on Carweb:
1. Be specific
Tell other members something specific. If you own a catering business, why not mention tricks to prevent food trays from sliding around the back of your full size van; if you figured out how to remove the third-row seats in your SUV, make a video and demonstrate it. This would be a good way to promote the fact that customers turn to your dealership when they go car shopping.
2. Be opinionated
Everyone likes articles that take a stand. Be sure to provide sound reasoning for your positions, and be prepared for a little debate.
3. Be unique
Visitors to Carweb like us because we are a little different from what they can find elsewhere.
4. Be a real person
Identify yourself and your affiliations.
Come right out and tell us about your involvement in the auto industry. Your future customers are reading this.

Second Weekend in Dubai
It is Friday morning and naturally, I am sitting by the pool. In Dubai, Friday = a mix of Sunday and Saturday. The government prohibits working on Friday and this has to do with Islamic tradition. Al Quoz warehouse fire and fireworks explosion
I live in Dubai and Wednesday morning March 26 on my way to work along Sheik Zayed road, we spotted a huge plume of smoke billowing out over the city, heading out towards the ocean. My office is on Jumeirah Beach road, toward the ocean from where the warehouse is located in Al Quoz industrial area. Here is a taste of the thick black smoke that was billowing across the city:
